Scaffolding services
Scaffolding planning and design, erection, onsite support, dismantling, street work, shoring and propping, towers and form work. Here is everything we put up, and how we look after it.
01 / 09
Full site surveys
Every job starts with a full site survey. We look at the building, the ground it stands on, how we get access and what work the scaffold is for, then plan and design a scaffold around it.
Expert design at the start is what lets us put a scaffold up quickly and efficiently, and take it down again just as quickly when you are finished.

Birdcage scaffolding
Birdcage, or independent, scaffolding is a robust and sturdy way to support the work on a construction project.
Its heights and levels are customisable, designed to your exact requirements.
- Independent of the building
- Heights and levels to your requirements

Perimeter scaffolding
Perimeter scaffolding supports your team working on the edges of the building, a versatile solution that keeps the project moving.
We assess the structure, shape and size of the building to provide a bespoke scaffold designed around your construction: versatile, easy to get onto and easy to move about on.
- Designed around the building
- Freedom of movement on site

Shoring scaffolding
Our shoring scaffolding increases stability and support for the building being worked on, for the safety and protection of everyone working on it. Shoring up and propping up is one of our core services.
We provide raking, flying or dead shoring, depending on what your job needs.
- Raking shoring
- Flying shoring
- Dead shoring

Cantilevered scaffolding
Cantilevered scaffolding, or needle scaffolding, is designed to make movement and access easier on construction sites.
It is the ideal choice for hard-to-reach areas such as balconies or roofs, and it helps on sites with obstacles on the ground or narrow passages, adding stability and security on difficult sites.
- Balconies and roofs
- Sites with ground-level obstacles
- Narrow passages
07 / 09
Chimney scaffolding
Chimney scaffolding gives a safe, secure working platform around a chimney stack, so repairs and rebuilding at roof height can be done properly.
08 / 09
Safety netting
We offer safety netting to surround construction projects and increase the security of scaffolding and sites. It adds a barrier of protection for your team and keeps work at height safe and productive.
Our safety netting is adapted to each project, so that every area of the scaffold is as safe as possible and meets regulations.
- Increased security against drops and falls
- Protection during high-level construction
- High-quality, durable materials

Regular inspections
We inspect our scaffolding regularly to guarantee its continued stability, durability and security throughout your construction.
With each inspection we assess how the scaffold is working and make recommendations or adjustments as needed, adapting it as the build goes on.
- Stability, durability and security checked
- Adjusted as your build changes

Questions people ask us
Are your scaffolders subcontractors?
No. All our scaffolding erectors are CITB trained and employed directly by Rise Scaffolding. Many scaffolding companies around Beckenham and Bromley bring in outside contractors for larger jobs; we do not, so you get the same standard on every project.
Do you check the scaffold once it is up?
Yes. We inspect our scaffolding regularly throughout your build, and make recommendations or adjustments as needed. Read more in our advice on how often scaffolding should be inspected.
Can you put scaffolding on the pavement?
Yes, street work is one of our services. Scaffolding on a public pavement or road needs a licence from the local council before it goes up, so tell us when you ask for a quote. Our advice on scaffolding on the pavement explains more.
Which areas do you cover?
We are based in Forest Hill, SE23, and work throughout Beckenham, Bromley, London and the Home Counties. See areas we cover.
How much will my scaffold cost?
Every scaffold is priced for the job: the height and length of the building, the type of scaffold, how long it stays up and how easy the site is to reach. Send us the job with a few photos and we will give you a quote.
